ANGSIZ 1.0-1
The current version is
1.1-1
(Fortran90) and
1.0-1
(FORTRAN77). Older versions are available
in other directories.

2-MAR-2004: Change (less than 1 line of code) to fix bug in Zmax for
WMTYPE 17. This bug probably never occurred in practice, for three
reasons. First, WMTYPE 17 is just a curve in the lambda-Omega plane, so
it is unlikely that one would just happen to use the corresponding
values for lambda and Omega. Second, due to the fact that in this
cosmological model the distance calculation is somewhat less accurate,
by default ANGSIG doesn't calculate distances in this
model; this has to be explicitly enabled by the user. Third, since Zmax
was wrongly calculated as being too large, this means that an error
would have occurred if a z larger than Zmax were used.
Files
-
The original
FORTRAN77
routines are the 12
*.FOR
files
in this directory
without any underscores.
-
The
ALL_ANGSIZ.FOR
file is just a concatenation
of all of these, and is all you need to compile the routines with a
FORTRAN77
compiler.
-
ALL_ANGSIZ.OBJ_ALPHA
is an object file for compiled on an ALPHA running VMS 7.3-1 with DEC
AXPVMS FORTRAN V7.5-1 patch level V7.5-2630.
-
ALL_ANGSIZ.OBJ_VAX
is an object file for compiled on a VAX running VMS 7.3 with DEC VAXVMS
FORTRAN V6.6-201.
-
(I might add some other OS's/compilers in the future
for those who might want to use the routines without a Fortran
compiler.)
Comments and corrections are highly appreciated. Also, if you use any
of my routines for any published results, I would really appreciate a
citation (use this
BibTeX
information) of
our paper
and perhaps an acknowledgement mentioning this URL. Thanks in advance.
