The magnitude-redshift relation for type Ia supernovae, locally inhomogeneous cosmological models, and the nature of dark matter


Abstract

This is my contribution to the 2016 Moriond cosmology meeting. For some reason, two of the figures were rotated by 90 degrees.

It is based on a paper about the general question of the influence of locally inhomogeneous cosmological models on the termination of cosmological parameters and one discussing what can be learned about the dark-matter distribution given the fact that the data seem to prefer a very homogeneous universe (with regard to most, i.e. dark, matter)
