This is the definitive CLASS paper on lens-candidate selection and followup. The entire CLASS team are authors of the paper. Although I didn't do much actual observing for CLASS, my main input into the observational side of things was to make sure that the sample and lens-candidate selection were as well defined as possible, even if that meant excluding some known lenses from the sample, recalibrating all the observations etc. The survey itself, i.e. before lens-candidate selection and followup, is described here.
This is a pre-copyedited, author-produced version of an article accepted for publication in Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society following peer review. The version of record is available at the URLs mentioned on the abstract page, in my publication list, and at the basic-information page for this work.
