ABOUT THIS DIRECTORY

This directory contains the data from several optical multiply imaged
quasar surveys which are essential for lensing statistical analysis. The
data are provided in form of ASCII text tables.



ABOUT THE TABLES

The 1st column contains the quasar identifier, the 2nd column contains
the quasar apparent V magnitude, the 3rd column contains the quasar
redshift, and, if the quasar is multiply imaged, the 4th column contains
the observed image separation ["].

Only quasars with redshift exceeding 1.0 are compiled in the tables. The
following tables are provided:

table1.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by [Crampton et al., 1992] only.
  In all, the table contains data of 30 singly imaged quasars.

table2.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by [Jaunsen et al., 1995] only.
  In all, the table contains data of 110 singly imaged quasars.

table3.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by [Kochanek et al., 1995] only. The
  table contains data of 118 singly imaged and 1 multiply imaged
  quasars.

table4.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by [Maoz et al., 1993] only. The
  table contains data of 394 singly imaged and 3 multiply imaged
  quasars.

table5.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by [Yee et al., 1993] only. The
  table contains data of 39 singly imaged quasars.

table6.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by both [Crampton et al., 1992] and
  [Jaunsen et al., 1995]. The table contains data of 1 singly imaged
  quasar.

table7.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by both [Crampton et al., 1992] and
  [Maoz et al., 1993]. The table contains data of 29 singly imaged
  quasars.

table8.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by both [Crampton et al., 1992] and
  [Yee et al., 1993]. The table contains data of 13 singly imaged
  quasars.

table9.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by both [Jaunsen et al., 1995] and
  [Maoz et al., 1993]. The table contains data of 18 singly imaged
  quasars.

table10.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by both [Maoz et al., 1993] and [Yee
  et al., 1993]. The table contains data of 33 singly imaged and 1
  multiply imaged quasars.

table11.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by [Crampton et al., 1992], [Jaunsen
  et al., 1995] as well as [Maoz et al., 1993]. The table contains data
  of 4 singly imaged quasars.

table12.dat
  contains data of quasars observed by [Crampton et al., 1992], [Maoz et
  al., 1993] as well as [Yee et al., 1993]. The table contains data of
  18 singly imaged quasars.

In all, the tables contain data from 807 singly imaged and 5 multiply
imaged quasars.
